Erica Prince’s Dollhouse exhibition presented the oversized empty dollhouse (7′ x 8′ x 1.5′) as a vessel for internalized projected narratives. In her artistic practice, Prince speculates that Dollhouses are gendered space for speculation and idealization, as well as an interpretive play space for the enactment of social and identity constructs.
